I would like to begin by congratulating everyone on yet another successful bake sale. We have raised $427 for our expected journey to New Zealand in December. Thank you to everyone who took part, either by baking delicious goods or helping out on the day. Unfortunately we have fallen short of our goal, but we still raised a large sum of money. Begun, this Scone War has!
This week we will once again be gathering at the Macaulay Theatre to finish season 2 of Continuum. From the ancient texts of Stuart:
When a group of rebels convicted as terrorists escapes execution by fleeing from the year 2077 to 2012, Kiera Cameron, a future Vancouver law enforcement officer, is involuntarily transported with them. In order to track them down and keep them from changing the past (and presumably future), Kiera joins the Vancouver Police Department and uses the skills of a young tech expert, Alec Sadler.
As always, the screening begins at around 5:00pm and there will be a pizza run at 7:00pm.
