Hello, everyone!
I hope all your semesters are off to a good start! It was great seeing so many new faces last night.
We’ll be continuing our regular Friday screenings this week, with season two of Grimm. For those of you who haven’t seen it before:
Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Bureau learns he is descended from a line of “guardians” known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures (called “Wesen”) of the world. Throughout the episodes, he must battle against an assortment of dangerous creatures, with help from his friend Monroe (who is a reformed creature), and his partner Detective Hank Griffin.
Also, there will be a short recap before the screening, to make sure that everyone is caught up with the events of Season 1. As usual, we’ll be starting the screening at 5:00 in Theatre M18 of the ChemSci Building, and making a pizza run about 7:00.
But that’s not all! We’ve also got another movie outing this week- Oz, The Great And Powerful! We’ll be meeting at the Ritz Cinema in Randwick at about 6:00 on Monday evening, and aiming for the 6:30 screening.
